From First Steps to Graduation: Give a Child Their First Steps
Meet Giuseppe. Giuseppe was born with 1p36 Deletion Syndrome, which is disorder that can effect speech and other developmental milestones.
Giuseppe started with The Warren Center when he turned three years old receiving both occupational and speech therapy. Throughout his occupational therapy sessions, our therapist worked hard on getting him stronger. He took time to start to crawl and pull to stand, but through his weekly occupational therapy, he was soon running across the room and climbing stairs while holding his mother’s hand in no time!
Giuseppe’s has gone from not being able to walk to graduating our Early Intervention Program, walking across the stage to get his graduation diploma. When Jasmine and Julio see their son running, jumping, and laughing, they remember the hard work and the guidance they received at The Warren Center. “He’s like a whole different kid,” says Jasmine. Julio adds, “it was a beautiful thing to see.”
Every Child has a different journey and The Warren center is there every step of the way. Be a part of this journey by donating through North Texas Giving Day. Give a child their first steps today.
The Warren Center will strives to not turn a child or family away due to an inability to pay. For each and every one of the 1,300 children we serve, the agency needs to raise $2,000 to cover the costs of services. This alleviates the family from an overwhelming financial burden so they can focus on the health and well-being of their child. Our main goal is to change children's lives and we can continue to do so through your generous donations.

The Warren Center is a nonprofit agency that advocates, serves and empowers the children and families impacted by developmental delays and disabilities.
The families we serve come from all walks of life and so do we.
Our staff, board of trustees, and volunteers come from a wide variety of backgrounds, not just because it is the right thing to do, but because it makes our agency stronger. Our organizational philosophy stands on four pillars: trustworthiness, resourcefulness, being experts in our field and making decisions through an ethical lens. In order to serve our community at this level, everyone must be included. We welcome the unique contributions that each person brings including but not limited to their education, opinions, culture, ethnicity, race, sex, gender identity and expression, nation of origin, age, languages spoken, veteran’s status, color, religion, disability, sexual orientation and beliefs.
Our vision is that all children reach their full potential. Inclusion gets us there.
