For more than 150 years, Ursuline Academy of Dallas has combined tradition and innovation to provide young women with an exceptional high school education founded in our Ursuline heritage and Catholic identity. Our curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular programs are distinguished by excellence in teaching, unique global educational and cultural exchange partnerships with sister schools in 10 countries, and leadership in technology. The Academy is one of only 29 schools in the U.S., and the only one in Texas, to be named a Microsoft Showcase School. Guided by the spirit of Serviam (I will serve), we are dedicated to nurturing the spiritual life of each student and forming her as a compassionate servant leader.
Our Needs
The Ursuline Fund is a yearly fundraising initiative that supports Ursuline’s operating budget and strategic priorities. It provides flexible, unrestricted resources that allow the school to respond to real-time needs and opportunities across academics, student life, faculty development, and campus improvements. Every dollar that is raised provides additional income that Ursuline can rely on to strengthen and support our people and the programs that make the Ursuline experience extraordinary.
Examples of what The Ursuline Fund allows us to say yes to include:
- Upgrading our campus Wi-Fi bandwidth to allow for faster, more secure, and stable Internet across our campus.
- Tuition Assistance and scholarships for Ursuline Students
- Adding a third lacrosse team
- New equipment for sports teams
- Creating the support role of Associate Athletic Director of Student Support
- A new Learning Lab on Campus
- Student financial assistance for UA Mission Trips and the Steubenville Youth Conference
- A part-time English faculty position to support healthy student/teacher ratio in our freshman year English classes

Founded in 1874 by the Ursuline Sisters, Ursuline Academy of Dallas is an independent Catholic, college preparatory school for young women.
The mission of Ursuline Academy is the total development of the individual student through spiritual formation, intellectual growth, service to others, and building of community.
Ursuline Academy educates young women for leadership in a global society.
