USS Fort Worth Support Committee

We want to fulfill our mission by infusing the USS Fort Worth with the friendship, heritage and spirit of the City of Fort Worth during its service life; and by providing lasting, favorable memories of the USS Fort Worth and the City of Fort Worth to all who serve aboard her.
To do that, we work to promote the awareness of the USS Fort Worth throughout the local community.

Our Needs

Your donations will help us with three avenues of direct support to the crew.

1. The Senior Sailors of the Quarters get cowboy hats from Best American Hat Store. The Sailor of the Year receives custom Leddy Vaquero cowboy boots. The Junior Sailor of the Year receives a belt and a belt buckle.  

2. We strive to send care packages on a quarterly basis from Fort Worth to the ship's crew of approximately 65 people. Your funds will help us to continue sending care packages from Fort Worth.

3. We want to continue to recognize outstanding service by bringing sailors to Fort Worth to visit their supporters and share their experiences aboard the ship. We are planning on having crew members out for Military Appreciation Night at the Rodeo.
