Mission

United Way leads in creating positive impact to improve the lives of Wise County residents by mobilizing the caring power of the Wise County community through highly effective community fund-raising campaigns, donor investment strategies and collaboration with the best partner agencies for the delivery of vital health and human service programs that our residents need, while maintaining the highest operating standards of public trust, integrity, accountability, transparency and compliance.

Needs

Our Needs

UWWC is in urgent need of expanding our donor base to include ongoing participation by ALL households, businesses and employers in the county to give, even modestly, to our Annual Community Pledge Campaign so that we can continue to accomplish our mission to impact people's lives for the better. We need all our residents to commit each year to GIVE, ADVOCATE and VOLUNTEER to our local United Way and our affiliated agencies. Participating in North Texas Giving Day is an outstanding way to accomplish this.
