North Texas Gives, powered by Communities Foundation of Texas, expands on the foundation's largest annual community event, North Texas Giving Day, to support local nonprofits and grow community giving year-round. Through NorthTexasGives.org, 100% of all donations go to nonprofits in more than 25 cause areas across 20 North Texas counties every day of the year. Through ongoing cause-based campaigns, matching fundraisers, group giving events, and nonprofit-led fundraising efforts, NorthTexasGivingDay.org is the one-stop shop for supporting local causes and a key Communities Foundation of Texas initiative to help build a thriving community for all. 

North Texas Giving Day is Communities Foundation of Texas's largest community event and the largest regional giving initiative in the Nation. Since 2009, over $635 million has been raised for more than 3,000 local nonprofit organizations through a single, easy-to-use online giving site. On NorthTexasGivingDay.org, donors can browse thousands of local nonprofit pages and give to organizations spanning over 30 cause areas, all in one place.

North Texas Giving Day 2025 will take place on Thursday, September 18 from 6:00 a.m. to midnight. 

North Texas Giving Day is an online event. Most of the activity takes place via our website, NorthTexasGivingDay.org.

To be eligible to participate, nonprofits must:

1. Have a physical location or mailing address in one of these 20 counties: Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Fannin, Grayson, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Montague, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant, or Wise. 
2. Be classified as a 501(c)3 or 501(c)19 by the IRS, be in good standing with the state and IRS, and not be in violation of any applicable state, local, or federal laws, ordinances, or regulations. 
3. Acknowledge that 100% of the funds raised will support programs and services in North Texas. 
4. Complete an organization page that can be placed on NorthTexasGivingDay.org.
