Founded in 2004, Spay Neuter Network (SNN) operates four spay/neuter clinics (Dallas, Fort Worth, Crandall, and San Antonio, Texas), a mobile spay-neuter program, and a transport program in partnership with over 16 counties and 36 cities to provide free and affordable spay/neuter and essential pet care for financially-challenged pet owners in areas where there is little to no access to affordable veterinary care. In 2023, our three DFW area clinics served over 400 ZIP codes throughout North Texas and provided services for more than 35,000 dogs and cats.
We develop our programs to improve the quality of care for dogs and cats while at the same time reducing the number of pets needing the safety net of animal shelters.
Our Mobile Clinic/Transport Program gives about 5,000 pet owners annually (60,000 to date) alternate transportation options to get their pets services.
Our Community Cat Program sterilizes and vaccinates over 2,000 free-roaming cats annually to improve community health and prevent more births on our streets.
Our Pet Support and Resource Center handles all of the Dallas Animal Services and Fort Worth Animal Care & Control pet surrender requests to help people keep their pets or support self-rehoming or rescue placement.
Our SNN+ Program in Fort Worth expands our low-cost pet care options and offers more opportunities for financially-challenged pet owners to connect with veterinarians. Support includes ear, eye and skin issue treatment, dental cleanings and end of life services.
Our Pet Assistance Program for People Experiencing Homelessness provides spay/neuter surgeries, wellness vaccinations, and preventatives for dogs and cats belonging to pet owners experiencing homelessness to help maintain the human-animal bond and remove barriers to future housing.
Our Humane Education Program brings pet care and dog safety to nearly 10,000 Fort Worth ISD elementary schools annually.
Our Shelter and Rescue Support Group Program supports partners with limited veterinary resources by providing spay-neuter surgeries and essential pet care for their dogs and cats, so these organizations can place those pets into new homes, faster.
Our Veterinary Mentorship Program was developed to ensure we can serve our mission into the future and support veterinarians wanting to increase their surgery skills and capacity.
Spay Neuter Network's mission is to eliminate pet overpopulation through spay/neuter while empowering communities to care responsibly for dogs and cats.
We need your support to offer these community programs and increase equal access to pet care for residents in low-income neighborhoods. Your donation will enable us to sterilize more pets, reducing the pet population and the risk of euthanasia at local shelters; vaccinate more pets to improve community pet health; educate people about responsible pet care to improve the overall lives of pets; and bring these services into neighborhoods that need them the most. Your gift ensures every pet gets the essential care they need and deserve.
