Once a Griffin, Always a Griffin

For 8 years, Arlington Classics Academy helped lay a solid academic foundation for our son which prepared him for high school and beyond.  ACA's academic rigor, high expectations, and dedicated teachers helped Chase develop strong study habits, time management skills, and the confidence to set and work towards his goals.  

Acceptance in the Martin High School STEM Academy was one of his first goals. ACA’s accelerated curriculum provided an opportunity to take high school-level courses beginning in 7th grade. Having earned 6 ½ high school credits in Middle School, Chase has had more flexibility in his schedule allowing him to take more courses in high school that were interesting to him including aerospace engineering. Due to his interest in aeronautical design, Chase applied and was accepted to NASA’s Texas High School Aerospace Scholars Program (HAS) during his junior year.  A truly unique STEM experience, participants complete a STEM-based 4-month online curriculum related to space exploration, Earth science, technology, and aeronautics.  This was in addition to his school coursework. 

Chase has managed to balance advanced PreAP, AP, and dual college credit courses with extracurricular activities including the golf and fishing teams, Key Club, and the National Honor Society.
