The Friends of Tietze Park wanted to make Tietze Park's 100th year an unforgettable year and we are proud to report that, thanks to great support, we are off to a fabulous start! We:
- Completed installation of our Sand Volleyball Court in February
- Held our annual Tietze Shred and Easter Egg Hunt in March
- Working with the Parks Department, planted 23 trees in April
- Hosted a successful Tietze Splash in July
Our final event of the year will be our Centennial Celebration where we can give back to the communities that support our park. On November 3rd we will be hosting a bash in the park for all to enjoy. There will be something for everyone - from bounce houses, to gaming trucks, to live music, to a silent auction, to flower arranging demonstrations. We are even doing an essay and drawing contest at local schools where the winners will be announced at the event!
Now is the time to give and help us make this year the best one yet for Tietze Park! Let's also settle the dispute as to which neighborhood is the best supporter of the Park.
- Belmont
- Lakewood
- Lakewood Heights
- Lower Greenville
- Wilshire Heights
Regardless of the winner, let's come together to raise the $2500 to help us celebrate Tietze's Centennial on NTX Giving day.
