Teaching starts with heart!
We trust educators with our most precious commodity - our children. Educators provide an experience for every child they encounter. The question is - what kind of experience are you providing? Whether intentional or not, educators who teach, coach and lead with their heart create an unforgettable experience for children.
The "With Heart" campaign aims to embrace wearing your heart on your sleeve and embracing the heart of this work!
Research shows what people remember the most about their teachers is how they made them feel through smiles, encouragement, and providing a voice or serving as an advocate (and the list goes on).
We are a community of educators dedicated to supporting each other through the complexities of the education field. Teachers LEAD is an inclusive and diverse organization that intentionally embraces the uniqueness of all individuals and celebrates our differences as a collective complement to education. We know representation matters! No matter if you are a new year, a seasoned veteran, committed to 4 years or less to education, a career changer or have made education your career choice - we celebrate you if you do it "with heart". Our campaign will be guided by our Student Advisory Team and provide guidance and modeling of entrepreneurship and advocacy. Help us by donating to the campaign or volunteering your time or a skill.
Every year we find a way to show appreciation to educators and this year we celebrate those "with heart"! This is our 4th teacher appreciation campaign since becoming a registered and recognized non-profit in 2019. As we continue our coaching and mentoring work, we stay committed to our yearly campaigns.
