Update posted 3 years ago

As a new week starts, we wanted to update you on the progress of the North Texas Giving Day fundraising for this year.  The community support for Serenity has been wonderful, with donors pledging $5,900 in matching funds so far.  That means that  every dollar you donate equals $2 to help us help those in need.

We know that this past year has been difficult for many families.  We have seen the number of homeless and housing insecure increase in our community.  Unfortunately the infrastructure to support them has not kept the same pace.  This is where all of us together can make a difference.  By supporting Serenity in their mission to Lift The Fallen, your donations help us provide the spiritual and physical support to those who cannot currently help themselves.  Whether it is a warm meal, replacing lost vital records, or restoring faith - each interaction is an opportunity to change a life.  Please take the time to donate, or pass the word about the Giving Day campaign to others.   THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU.

“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.”

We are a Church established in 2016 to reach those in our community that have been neglected and pushed to the margins for multiple reasons. We meet in a 450 square foot room and are looking to expand into our own building in order to assist in basic and primary needs of our Friends.

We gather three times a week for Bible Study and Worship but words mean nothing without action. We provide meals during these times through the help of other churches in our community. We also help in finding jobs, housing, Social Service programs, ID assistance, medical care, Spiritual Counseling, and a number of other services that are needed.

I am asking...pleading...for your help in achieving our dream of getting a place our Street Family can meet and feel at home. If possible could you contribute $50 to this campaign? If more, please do. If less, please do.
