This horse is the newest in our herd, just coming to us spring of 2024. Was given to the Camp from an 80 year old man in the neighborhood, who had rescued him from a kill barn. His daughter from Dallas, brought us his favorite treats “Nicker Doodles” and Carrots, which make it much easier for us to catch him. He loves all treats, especially the homemade ones that the horse club members make.
He is a total dream. An old bloodline line Quarterhorse, of a tall height of 15 hands, so great for adults. Also good for anyone with no horse experience because he is so easy to handle, ride, and seems to really enjoy kind and loving companionship.
Your donation in Renos name would be used for grooming tools, brushes, rubber and metal curry combs, hoof picks, bot blocks etc. Grooming a horse is not only about cleaning but is a great way to bond with the horse. These tools wear out and are always being replaced.
