Race for Impact

When we learned that local children did not have books at home, we knew that MUST change and that we had the power to do something about it.  With just 20 books at home, a child's likelihood of graduating from high school increases significantly. Additionally, great stories help us develop empathy, gain confidence, and learn about people and places we may never touch in our real life. 

Book Drive for Kids is on a mission to get books into the hearts and hands of local disadvantaged children. Books are powerful tools that ignite curiosity, imagination, laughter and bring hope. We can't wait any longer! Children must learn to read fluently in elementary school or it's likely they will not learn to read well ever. By gifting books of choice directly to children for them to "keep forever and ever" in their home, we have witnessed so much joy, excitement, and enthusiasm for reading from students and teachers alike.
