Building Community with Sixty & Better

I am proud to serve as a board member for the nonprofit Sixty & Better, which is committed to enhancing the quality of life for older adults in Arlinton and elsewhere in Tarrant County. Founded on the principles of compassion, respect, and community engagement, the organization's mission is to empower older adults to become and remain healthy, active, and engaged in their communities.

Since 1967, Sixty & Better has been a cornerstone of support, providing a wide range of services designed to meet the evolving needs of the senior population. From health and wellness programs to social activities and educational opportunities, the organization offers comprehensive support to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

With the primary focus on increasing health and wellness and reducing isolation, services are delivered to participants directly where they live, work, and gather. Sites include assisted living facilities, senior centers, city parks, libraries, and places of worship.
