Brent Dore's 40th Birthday Fundraiser for Fortress

Brent Dore is a board member at Fortress and chairs our Board Governance Committee - perfect for an attorney, don't you think? He believes that working and serving alongside Fortress’ staff, volunteers, families, and awesome kids is one of the greatest honors in his life. (We didn't make that up; he says so in his board bio!) One of Fortress's goals as an organization this year is to strengthen and stabilize our financial standing so that we can sustain the incredible programs we've built. Every dollar Brent raises will help us build a cash reserve so that our programs are never interrupted when grant funds and government subsidies fall short. 

As he is turning 40 this month, Brent is asking everyone who's ever owed him a favor, has ever made fun of him for being an Aggie, or might just want to help him celebrate to do so by gifting Fortress 40 bucks on North Texas Giving Day. When his fundraiser reaches $1,000, it will be matched with another $1,000 by our friends at The Morris Foundation!
