Founders Fort Worth

My name is Brandy Carson, and I am the Headmaster at Founders Classical Academy - Ft. Worth. Our new school opened in the fall 2023 with grades K-2. This year we are serving grades K-3rd and in 2025, we will enroll students in grades K-8. 

As a Founders Classical Academy school, we offer a classical liberal arts education designed to cultivate virtue and wisdom in students. When students graduate from our school, they will have an understanding of the human experience through great books, a historical timeline, scientific experiments, and a sequential math program that will prepare them for high school. Our teachers facilitate discussions that provoke students to become inquisitive of the material, not just to master the skills. The ability to question, seek knowledge, and engage in discussions is joined to a pursuit of goodness and beauty. These distinctive characteristics prepare our graduates to thrive beyond our walls as they continue their pursuit of becoming excellent citizens.

We are a tuition-free public school of choice in a private school setting. State funds provide us with what we need to operate our schools, and we are grateful for those resources. Carrying out our mission, however, requires us to set a higher standard for success than simply keeping the doors open. It is for this reason we seek a shared commitment from our families to create an environment where our students will not just graduate but learn and flourish.
