Major Medical: Bruno
Bruno was a stray at a local shelter, just a baby that was abandoned and neglected. Bruno had demodex mange and a secondary skin infection. He also had a severe ear infection. He has been on several months of medication and medicated baths and has come so far! Soon Bruno will be looking for his forever home after he is cleared for his neuter surgery.
Donations from the public, like you, are what made it possible for Bruno to have the needed medical attention to be come a happy, healthy puppy. When you donate to our Major Medical Fund, you help those like Bruno.
"Major Medical" is a primary focus area for our nonprofit. When pets with medical requirements arrive at a shelter, they cannot be adopted through the regular adoption process and depend on rescues to accept them into their programs. Medical needs vary from heartworm treatment to limb amputation or even full obstruction removal surgery. While these needs can be costly, we believe these pets deserve the exceptional care offered by our veterinary partners.
