We are thrilled to introduce you to the Ausome Allen Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving individuals of all ages and abilities, particularly those with special needs. Our mission is centered around promoting inclusion and changing the world, one piece at a time.

At the Ausome Allen Foundation, we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to play, learn, and thrive in an inclusive environment. That's why we are excited to announce our latest initiative: the creation of a one-of-a-kind inclusive playground, set to become an Ausome destination for our community.

In collaboration with Whirlwix, renowned for their work on the Dream Park in Fort Worth and similar projects worldwide, we are constructing a playground that embodies our vision of inclusivity. Featuring the first-ever two-story wheelchair-accessible treehouse and a host of other innovative amenities, our playground will be a place where everyone can come together to have fun, make friends, and create lasting memories.

Here's what you can expect from our Ausome playground:

1. Inclusive Design: Our playground is designed to cater to the diverse needs of individuals with disabilities. From wheelchair-accessible paths to specialized equipment like the "Go Swing" for wheelchairs, every aspect of the design prioritizes accessibility and inclusivity.

2. Themed Environment: Inspired by the rich natural beauty of Weatherford, our playground will feature a cutting horse capital nature theme. Visitors can explore a nature trail with educational exhibits highlighting local flora and fauna, as well as AAC communication devices to enhance the learning experience.

3. Specialized Facilities: We are proud to offer two birthday party rooms specifically designed for individuals with special needs. These rooms are equipped with amenities tailored to accommodate wheelchairs and other accessibility requirements, ensuring that everyone can celebrate in style.

4. Community Engagement: Our playground isn't just a place to play—it's a space where friendships are forged and connections are made. Parent lookout areas, cooling stations shaped like puzzle pieces, and water stations encourage families to come together and enjoy the outdoors.

5. Therapeutic Features: For individuals seeking physical therapy or a workout, our playground will offer a range of exercise equipment strategically placed around the park. These features promote health and wellness while fostering a sense of empowerment and independence.

6. Accessible Recreation: In addition to traditional playground activities, our facility will include a floating dock reminiscent of Weatherford Lake, allowing wheelchair users to fish and enjoy the serene beauty of the water.

7. Thrilling Adventure: Zip lining is an experience unlike any other, and our Ausome Assisted Zip Krooz takes it to the next level. With breathtaking views and the rush of wind in your hair, participants will feel a sense of freedom and exhilaration as they zip through the air. Accessible Fun: Our zip line is designed to be fully accessible, allowing individuals of all abilities to participate and enjoy the thrill of zip lining. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or trying zip lining for the first time, everyone is welcome to join in the fun.

We believe that our Ausome playground will not only provide a fun and inclusive space for recreation but also serve as a catalyst for positive change in our community. By fostering understanding, empathy, and acceptance, we hope to create lifelong friendships and enrich the lives of all who visit.

We invite you to join us on this exciting journey as we work towards building a more inclusive world, one playground at a time. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to play, learn, and thrive.

Sincerely,

Erica Howell
