Spay it Forward!

At NTASR, we believe spaying and neutering are crucial steps in reducing overcrowding in shelters and rescues, and preventing animal homelessness. Our Spay it Forward campaign ensures that every dog in our care is spayed or neutered before adoption, fostering a healthier, more balanced pet community. In 2024 alone, we have taken in approximately 14 litters of puppies, with four litters born while in our care.

Through our Spay & Neuter Fund, we are committed to making a lasting impact. Your donations directly support the spaying and neutering of our rescue dogs, promoting responsible pet ownership and preventing unintentional breeding. This effort helps alleviate pressure on shelters across North Texas, including rescues like NTASR.

We are proud to offer owners surrendering litters the opportunity to spay or neuter the adult dogs that reared them at no cost. With your support, we aim to expand this effort and increase our impact in 2025 by providing spay and neuter services to even more dogs in our community, especially those facing financial hardships.
