Update #1

Update posted 4 months ago

This morning I spent a few hours volunteering at the North Texas Wild Life Center (Thursday nights are my normal shift). I helped feed baby birds (cardinals, bluejays, mocking birds, robin, and a woodpecker). If you don't know handfeeding babybirds is time consuming. They eat every 15-30 minutes! The backyard bird lover in me, loves playing Mama bird for a few hours and feeding the babies.

The North Texas Wild Life center has taken in over 1200 so far this year. If you can spare a few bucks, please help me be the volunteer who raises the most money for the Center during North Texas Giving Day! Thanks!

Here's a photo of one of the bluejays.

The North Texas Wildlife Center takes in over 1200 animals per year for rescue, rehab, & release. These animals are found by people like YOU and ME!

They are a nonprofit and do not receive any funding from the government or local municipalities. Our support to this invaluable service allows them to continue supporting our ecosystem and native Texas wildlife.
