BrightCourse Client Education Software

When a client comes to EMPHC, they undergo an intake interview to identify patterns, behaviors, mindsets, and problems. The Client Advocate then establishes  personalized educational goals for each client which the client will work to earn points to spend in the Heartbeat Boutique.  EMPHC uses BrightCourse educational software as the main source for its client program. It is virtual, up-to-date, and measures client understanding of content to ensure personal growth.  The Client Advocate uses these videos to initiate conversations with the client in an effort to relate to the client and encourage real life change. BrightCourse is so effective and central to our program because the subscription offers lessons for every aspect of life, including:

- Pregnancy/birth

- Parenting (infants, toddlers, pre-teens, and teens)

- Life skills (including housekeeping, writing a resume, budgeting, interviewing for a job, etc)

- Bible study

- Risks and consequences of risky sexual behaviors

- Identifying and avoiding sex trafficking 

- Marriage 

As we grow, we need more "streams" so that several clients can be online at the same time in both the English and Spanish language.
