At Agape, we celebrate, honor, and support women who, like Corrie ten Boom, face incredible challenges with courage and strength. Through their resilience and determination, each woman we serve embodies the spirit of valor as they overcome barriers, rebuild their lives, and provide for the children. Their perseverance inspires us daily, filling us with hope for a brighter future.
For over 10 years Agape has successfully empowered homeless women led families to move from crisis, poverty and abuse to fulfilling, self-sustaining lives by providing safe, stable transitional housing, childcare, workforce education, transportation assistance, budgeting, credit repair & counseling. Since 2013 Agape has grown from 1 house, 2 beds and a crib to supporting on average, 25 families a year. Agape has provided home, help, and hope for 290+ souls, including 120+ women with 170+ children. Over 91% of Agape families are survivors of family violence, sexual assault, or trafficking. Of the families served, 78+ women (>77%) with 98+ children have graduated with jobs that enable them to provide homes and stability for their children.
Agape is not a band-aid but rather provides a holistic solution to homelessness proven to help our Agapeans move on to fulfilling, self-sustaining lives realizing the plans God has for each of us: no harm, true shalom, and a future with hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Agape provides HOPE, HELP, AND HOME.
