The Torrefranca's Love St. Mary's School!

It's time for North Texas Giving Day, no Month 2024! This year we're shaking things up a bit to help everyone participate as they are able to support St. Mary's Catholic School.

Just like in years past, we still graciously appreciate any one-time gifts anytime throughout September. And, we invite all families at St. Mary's School and Parish to join us at a Community Picnic on Thursday, September 19th from 11 am - 1 pm, with lunch provided by The One And Only Burger in Sherman and SMS.

We also have a super fun way for students to multiply smaller donations that will help bring awesome opportunities to improve our school. Students and their families are challenged to get monthly sponsors for each day of the month (i.e., donate $5 per month for the 5th, $20 per month for the 20th, and so on). Monthly giving is only for the next eight months of the school year (Sept. through May). Sponsors will be charged on September 19th for their first pledge, and then on the first of the month from October 2024 through May 2025.

Students are also competing for some fun and educational prizes for both themselves and their entire class. And, if the whole school meets its goal, our new principal, Ms. Annette Roraback, has to ride an inflatable tiger for the entire day at lunch and dismissal!

This year, our goal is $85,000, which will be dedicated to:

• Operating Costs and Campus Upkeep
• Campus Security Upgrades
• Campus Landscaping and Maintenance
• Educational Technologies
• Tuition Assistance Scholarships
• And Our Biggest Wish: A Playground Overhaul
