When a client comes to us that is abortion-minded or abortion-determined, we must be ready to answer her questions in a way that is relevant to her and her situation. For this generation, no longer are brochures and books with picture an effective form of communication. Girls and women now look to the internet for information, so EMPHC has stepped up its game in the counseling room in order to deliver unbiased facts that can change a mind and save a life.  

HopeSync has been used by our Client Advocate for more than six months and it has already saved more than one baby's life.  The software provides short videos that address the influences that she is facing to abort, such as personal pressures and outside pressures (boyfriend, finances, etc) and is available by smart phone or iPad to be shown to the client in the counseling room.  As well, there are videos with gestational information to show her how formed her baby is at the stage of pregnancy she is in. Abortion procedures during all three trimesters are explained with graphics to show her exactly what happens, and the risks involved during and after a surgical abortion procedure or at home using a chemical abortion pill.  In addition, when a client leaves the Center, the Advocate can continue to send other videos that might be indicated in the client's situation so that we can continue to influence her decision in the days following her visit.  This makes HopeSync a powerful tool that we feel we cannot be without.
