Each person's journey through life comes with its own set of challenges and opportunities. We all face obstacles like difficult periods and rocky paths to navigate. But it helps tremendously to have encouraging people by our side who support us in reaching greater heights than we imagined.

Bridges Safehouse is here to provide that support network for clients during their journeys. Through counseling sessions, activities, and community building, we offer necessities, continuing education, technology access, parenting classes, life skills workshops, and more. Concrete needs like diapers, hygiene products and baby essentials are met through our programs. We also assist with housing, food, and connecting clients to additional resources for any needs that arise.

What first draws clients to seek our help are the free diapers and wipes for their little ones. But it's in the guidance, friendships and empowerment found within our caring community that families truly gain strength. With the right encouragement, clients build confidence to overcome hardship. Our goal is for each person to advance positively along their journey toward independence. We hope you'll consider joining our effort in empowering and transforming lives.

It's incredibly rewarding to witness the growth and accomplishments of our clients alongside them every step of the way. A few recent examples that warm my heart include:  Kelly pursuing her dream of becoming an architect, Karen succeeding in her first year of nursing school, Edith earning her GED while improving her English, and Carolina enhancing her parenting skills as she discovers a new passion for writing - who knows, maybe she'll become a published author!So many have also found stable jobs or advanced their skills, which is so fulfilling to see. While I've only highlighted a few stories, there have truly been countless small victories that make a meaningful difference collectively.  

Our staff pours unconditional care, empathy and belief into each person we serve. It's beautiful to be part of such a supportive community where positive change blossoms. Witnessing individual breakthroughs and the strength of human spirit inspires me daily in this work.

You can join us in empowering families through even the smallest acts of kindness. A donation of $250 will provide one child with diapers and wipes for an entire month. For many parents, basic needs like diapers or utilities sometimes become difficult choices - together, we want to eliminate that stress so families can simply focus on thriving.  OUR BIG ASK!  A donation of $55,000 would allow us to purchase a delivery van for safe, reliable transportation of clients. Many wish to access our services but lack transportation or funds for gas. A van eliminates that barrier so we can accompany more on their journeys of growth.
