I have a special request. I am asking you to help me support Carson's Village, which is named after one of my former students. Carson was in my 5th-grade class in 2015-2016 and was best known for his big smile, creative mind, and bright red hair.
Carson went on to Middle School and on April 28, 2017, the world tragically lost Carson to suicide.
Carson's Village is a nonprofit organization designed to help families navigate the journey after the loss of a loved one.
Carson was a remarkable young man and had a great future ahead of him.
Carson was described by his peers as confident and encouraging. One friend said, “When Carson is around he is always encouraging and helping me work out my problems.” During a 5th Grade Unit project, Carson helped our class solve a big problem. He was asked to replace a sick learner and present his invention idea in our 5th Grade’s Shark Tank. With less than 24 hours to prepare his final presentation, Carson answered with a very confident YES that he would step up and fill the last spot! It’s examples like these that made Carson truly remarkable.
Thank you for any help with Carson's Village and North Texas Giving Day.
