Give the Gift of Financial Literacy

Over the past several years, we've seen how many families we assist struggle with financial literacy, often falling victim to predatory lending and remaining trapped in poverty. To help break this cycle, LIFT R&R has partnered with the 1st United Bank to offer Financial Peace University (FPU) to Collin County families. This 10-week course will guide 12 residents in each session through essential money management skills. 

Upon graduation, they will receive a free bank account with $50 from 1st United Bank and $150 from LIFT R&R, giving them a fresh start and the tools to manage their finances effectively. Financial literacy is key to escaping poverty. By mastering budgeting, saving, and investing, individuals can build assets, secure their future, and gain access to vital financial services.
