This year has been tough. We've lost beloved friends - Theodore, abandoned and alone; Baby Bear, discarded at a shelter; Spice, a gentle soul from a hoarding home; and Inky, Shyla, and Alfie, who fought bravely against feline leukemia.
But despite the struggles, we persist. Why? Because every life saved is a beacon of hope. Every cat loved back to health is a testament to compassion.
Volunteering can be brutal. Cruel words, endless requests, and sleepless nights wondering if we're doing enough. But we press on, fueled by empathy and determination.
We do this for no incentive, driven by a simple truth: innocent lives depend on us. Your support on North Texas Giving Day will help us continue our mission.
