Hi! I'm Mariela Freire and I'm raising funds for Texas Folklife to support their youth accordionists and the incredible programs that keep Texas' rich cultural traditions alive. As someone who has had the privilege of working behind the scenes with this organization, I’ve seen firsthand the transformative power of the arts in communities across the state.

Through Texas Folklife, I've met talented individuals whose stories and art have inspired me to create and explore the beautiful diversity of Texas cultures. From food to music to art, I’ve learned so much and am deeply grateful to everyone who has shared their talents and experiences.
