Give a Book, Change a Life with Nicol

Did you have a favorite book as a kid?  Do you have fond memories of your mom or dad or grandparent reading you stories when you were young?  Books! They transport us to another time and place. They foster dreams and feed imaginations.  And we know books provide a foundation for learning, both now and in the years to come. Your donations will help put books into the hands of kids who might not have the resources to purchase their own. For a lot of the kids we serve, this is the very first book they have ever owned.   

Our goal is to provide free books to kids who might not otherwise have access to them.  In cooperation with targeted schools, we set up book fairs for kids to choose their very own book at no cost to them. Research shows that reading paper books leads to stronger academic performance compared to digital reading, with significant score differences on international tests like PISA. 

The children we serve are thrilled to go home with books of their own.  They are amazed at our donors' generosity and this simple gift of kindness.  Help us change children's lives, one book at a time.
