Hello, my name is Stephanie Lamb, and I'm proud to serve on the Denton Parks Foundation Board.
The Parks Foundation works to make parks healthier, safer, and more accessible for all Denton Residents. We are able to accomplish this through Investing, Advocacy, and Volunteerism.
We have been partnering with the City of Denton and their Parks and Recreation Department for our three decades to help fill the gap that exists when our park's needs surpass the tax dollars available.
One area of impact that I am personally proud of, is the annual funding of Parks and Recreation Program Scholarships. Last program year, the Foundation funded over 50 program scholarships for qualifying Denton residents.
