Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) develops positive, meaningful relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people. At the center of our mission is one-to-one mentoring, with each mentor ("Big") spending time with his or her mentee ("Little") through one of the three primary programs: Community-Based, School/Site-Based, and mentor2.0.
BBBS is the oldest no fee to volunteer mentoring organization in the United States. Its mission is simple, to defend the potential of youth through the power of 1:1 mentoring. From high school internships, workplace mentoring, and post-secondary preparation to the social capital and emotional support our mentors provide, BBBS youth receive the support they need to ignite their fullest potential in life.
In 2024, we will serve over BBBS will serve over 1,800 kids in Greater Dallas alone. Your gift this year will directly support the incredible impact this program has on the lives on the children it serves. In addition, every dollar donated will be matched up to $50,000.
