Project Conquer is Mayberry Memorial's flagship program, which pays for unidentified high-risk Lynch syndrome applicants to receive free genetic testing and genetic counseling. The goal is to have applicants "conquer" their genetic history - taking their blindfold off and taking charge of their future.

Mayberry Memorial was founded in 2011 after Steve Mayberry passed from colorectal cancer, and it wasn't until after his death that we learned he had Lynch syndrome. If Steve would have known he had Lynch syndrome while has alive, we are confident he would have been able to take steps to avoid developing cancer and would still be with his family today.

Our vision with Project Conquer is for others to have the knowledge about their condition and resources they need to avoid the same fate as Steve.
