No parent can be prepared for the day their child dies. There are no words to explain the horror of the day it happens and its immediate aftermath.
Sadly, I know the story behind Carson's Village, as its founder is one of my best and longest friends. I called Jason (Carson's dad) the night David died, not knowing what else to do.
Carson's Village helped me navigate those horrible early days, ensuring we didn't make financial mistakes while our heads were scrambled with grief.
The business of death is real and can be overwhelming when a loss comes unexpectedly. Carson's Village was created because of that harsh reality.
Their professional team operates where no one else does. They are unaffiliated and only care about helping families through an unimaginable time.
I ask you to support them and their critical work. Your support will help some future family that doesn't even know they will need Carson's Village one day. On their behalf, I thank you.
www.rakdavid.org shares David's story and how he performed acts of kindness to those in his world. He is missed.
