Purchase a new miniature horse/ac 4 trailer/train

We need your help so we can start looking to purchase a new miniature horse to train and license, be able to fix seals on our 20 year old trailer that leak and put an air condition unit in our trailer to continue working with special needs kids, the elderly, first responders and our community in general.  It has been extremely difficult to take our mini out in the summer months because of the heat and having to stop at many places.  Our first priority is our animals and our care for them.  

Our founder serves our community and is on call 24/7 and has a wonderful vision of having therapy animal teams in every facet of the community where they would be the best benefit to people. She started Annie's Therapeutic Companions with that in mind knowing she couldn't possibly get to every facility by herself as she continued to have doors open and having a consistent schedule everywhere that welcomed her.  She has been the first one to "knock on doors" consistently bringing animal assisted therapy to nursing homes, our Texas Health Hospital in Stephenville and our first responders in rural Erath County and surrounding counties.  

Our founder trains our volunteers and trains them how to train their animals in all settings so there is consistency within the organization wherever our teams go. We provide all grooming shampoos, conditioners, toothpaste, animal gear, handler uniforms, testing fees and many more things that make our organization very consistent throughout.  It's been our founder's heart that someone who has the heart to serve should not have the financial burden it takes making them possibly not being able to serve and do what they would desire to do. The costs involved in classes, testing, renewal testing, animal gear etc. runs approximately $550 for start up which would put many out of being able to volunteer right from the start. After start up throughout the year there are still many costs because of what our organization provides to the volunteers.  We are so very thankful for their time and heart to serve, if we can at least provide the things necessary for them it's a blessing to us. Of course with this, we have also put safeguards in place so the organization is not taken advantage of in this respect.

We truly hope you will consider us in your giving this season. We can't do it without your help! We don't fit in the majority of categories with grants that are given so it's been very difficult to get funding to do what we do.  God has been faithful to help us continue our mission and we believe He will continue.
