Sweet Lou Reed was found in a trash can and taken to the shelter in Arlington. After weeks of being a solo kitten tagged as rescue only because of a significant medical problem, he was set to be euthanized at 8 weeks old. We stepped in to save him and he has been with an amazing medical foster.
In May he had a purse string suture surgery to fix his prolapse and the surgery unfortunately failed. He has been to more than one specialist and has been deemed healthy enough for an incredibly invasive surgery that will hopefully fix it. If he does not have this surgery, the tissue will become necrotic, cause nerve damage and he will lose all control. Please help us save him!
