How one is able to communicate throughout their daily life is important. For those that are diagnosed with autism and are non-verbal the use of sign language or an AAC device is used.
AAC - Augumentative and Alternative Communication
Being able to obtain an AAC device for some, is not easy.
For children, if not obtained from their school district or qualified through insurance, an AAC device is an added cost to a family.
Coloring Life My Way is a DeSoto Non-Profit charitable organization pending 501 (c) (3) exemption status . Our primary goal is to be able to raise funds and in turn purchase a device along with the app Proloquo2Go!
These devices will be donated to special needs children that are non-verbal and or have communication difficulties.
