Mission
TBHC Foster Care and Adoption mission is caring for children and families by offering stability, discovering self-worth, and achieving true healing in Christ. Our purpose is and has always been to Glorify God by Caring for Children
Needs
The combined effects of the current events over the last 3 years have resulted in a prolonged period of recovery and healing. Despite the pandemic, cultural unrest, and economic changes, we at TBHC have continued to provide quality care to hundreds of children. We have persevered to train and equip more foster parents to help care for children in need so that they can continue to heal. Our desire is for the children in North Texas to have a safe haven to retreat to where they can find love and know that there is hope for them. We are launching a new level of care this year, Treatment Family Foster Care (TFFC), within our agency that will help meet the highest levels of need of our community. We need funds to help this type of care grow for it to reach its full potential. In order to achieve these goals, however, we are graciously calling on our community to increase your support. That is why we are setting our NTGD goal to raise $30,000 in one day for TBHC kids.It costs $47 a day for children in TBHC care, $330 a week, $660 every two weeks, and about $1,500 a month. Will you consider helping a child who is in TBHC care by providing for their needs with this donation? Their needs include clothing and everyday expenses, parent respite and training, specialized therapy, and the kids' extra needs with school and summer activities. YOU can make a difference today with your donation!
