Empowering Students through Study Abroad

Dear Friends and Supporters,

As the Assistant Director of International Studies at UNT Dallas, I am thrilled to share an exciting opportunity with you. We have a goal to send 50 ambitious students on life-changing study abroad experiences by February 2026 and you can help.

Why Study Abroad Matters:

Studying abroad isn’t just about academic credits; it’s about expanding horizons, fostering cultural understanding, and shaping global citizens. Our students will immerse themselves in new languages, and build connections that last a lifetime. But they need your help to make this dream a reality.

The Needs:

Our students face practical challenges. Obtaining a passport is the first step, costing around $150 per student. Additionally, airfare to their destinations (ranging from $500 to $1500) is essential. Beyond that, they need practical items like power converters, portable chargers, suitcase locks, and luggage.

How You Can Make a Difference:

Your gift on North Texas Giving Day (visit here) will be pivotal. By supporting these students, you’re investing in their education, broadening their worldview, and empowering them to become global leaders. Imagine the impact: a student from southern Dallas exploring the streets of Tokyo, discussing art in Florence, or interning in Madrid.

Join Us:

Let’s create a ripple effect. Your generosity today will echo through generations. Together, we’ll transform lives, break down barriers, and build bridges across continents. Every dollar counts, and every student’s journey begins with your support.

Thank you for being part of this transformative journey for the students of UNT Dallas.

Warm regards,

Courtney Rogers, MPL
