Our Mission

We educate and inspire agile, resilient business leaders.

We accomplish this through close interaction with our students and community, innovative experiential learning, and delivering strong career outcomes.

Our top priority

The UNT Dallas School of Business' priority is our students. Therefore, we focus on them by delivering superior teaching by leaders in Dallas and academics. This is all to develop students to be leaders who will transform the future of business in Dallas and beyond.                                                                                          - Dean Jason Garrett, Ph.D., School of Business

The School of Business is the fastest-growing at UNT Dallas, and each of our majors has career-ready students equipped with industry-recognized certifications upon entering the robust Dallas-Fort Worth job market.

The Gold Chair

One way we prepare our students for the rapidly changing market is to offer networking opportunities for them to learn from industry leaders. In partnership with the Maiden Foundation and the Dallas Regional Chamber, the School of Business offered students the unique executive engagement series to interact with industry experts on discussion topics such as the importance of developing leadership skills and practical keys for success.

Learn More

Our graduates land jobs at some of North Texas’s biggest companies such as AT&T, American Airlines, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Santander Consumer USA, Celanese, Comerica Bank, Walgreens, and many more.

Student Needs

We are developing programs and initiatives to prepare our students for their professional futures. A charitable gift to one or all of these experiences will give our students additional opportunities to put their networking and leadership skills into practice.

Innovation Cup

This unique event will allow students to apply the academic principles they learned in the classroom to practice. Students will present their solutions to real-world scenarios or problems that could potentially arise in the workplace. We are seeking $10,000 to assist our students with obtaining the supplies and resources they need to develop scaled models to participate in this program.

Franchise Week

This event will invite students and community guests interested in entrepreneurship to learn more about opening franchises from leading local businesses. A gift of $10,000 helps us support students who may be experiencing a financial strain that prevents them from participating in the week's events.

Make a Difference Today

Your generous gift on North Texas Giving Day will directly empower our students, providing them with the resources and opportunities they need to become the business leaders of tomorrow. Together, we can shape a brighter future for our students entering the local and global business community.
