The Impact

At the University of North Texas at Dallas, we offer our students the most affordable tuition plans in the Dallas region, helping them blaze their trail toward a bachelor’s, master’s, or juris doctoral degree while minimizing student debt. Scholarships enhance our value-based education through innovative, high-quality academic programs that include opportunities for rich experiential learning.

Scholarships are essential for our students as they provide critical financial support, enabling access to higher education for those who might otherwise be unable to afford it. By alleviating the burden of tuition and related expenses, scholarships allow students to focus on their studies and personal growth, rather than financial stress. This support not only helps students achieve their academic goals but also sets them on a path to a brighter financial future. The impact of scholarships extends beyond graduation, empowering our students to pursue their careers with confidence and contribute positively to society.

Student Testimonials

"My scholarship helps me the most with my textbooks for this fall and the next spring semester, so I can save some of the money for future MCAT Prep and for any certification courses I will take. It is a huge weight off of my shoulders and my family's shoulders as applying to medical schools and taking the MCAT can be quite expensive."

- Valerie, Robert Mong Endowed Scholarship Recipient

"This scholarship shows my niece that many people want you to succeed and it does not matter what you have been through and how hard life has hit you. What matters is how you choose to get up and grow to be the best version of yourself. This scholarship is a lifeline to me and my family because it helps me write the next chapter for us. I promise that I will continue to uphold the legacy this scholarship brings to UNT Dallas and will make sure I pay it forward."

- Daisy, Lyman & Eloise Owen Scholarship Recipient

"Being married with three children and being the sole financial provider has been tough, but this scholarship shows my children what resilience and hard work look like."

- Vincent, Gary Finney Memorial Scholarship Recipient

"My scholarship demonstrates that overcoming obstacles is a crucial component of personal development. Navigating the financial aspects of higher education has proven to be a considerable challenge, but this scholarship makes my education financially possible."

- Ernest, Ryan Scholars Program Scholarship Recipient

"This scholarship provides much-needed assistance in covering expenses such as textbooks, supplies, and tuition fees, allowing me to invest in my educational pursuits fully. It empowers me to pour into my dreams of becoming an educator, enabling me to make a lasting impact on my students' future, and giving back to those within the community."

 - Asia, Dr. Howard E. Anderson, Sr. & Mrs. Shirley Von Anderson Endowed Scholarship Recipient

"In 2019 I started working on "El sueño americano." Every immigrant has a different definition of it, but for me, the American dream is the opportunity to have a quality education, decent housing, food, prosperity, and the ability to achieve a better life. My scholarship opened a new opportunity for me to achieve my academic goals."

- Yeraldi, Ram Lal Seekri Endowed Scholarship Recipient
