Empower Our Pups Through Behavior Support!

At The Love Pit, we're on a mission to save and rehabilitate bully breeds in North Texas, and a big part of that mission is our Behavioral Support and Training Team. This dedicated group of experts plays a vital role in ensuring that every dog in our care is set up for success as they transition from foster homes to their forever families.

Our training team works tirelessly to support our foster parents, providing them with the tools and resources they need to help their foster dogs thrive. Whether it’s crate training, leash walking, or potty training, we’re there every step of the way. But our work doesn’t stop at basic training. For dogs with more challenging behaviors, such as leash reactivity, separation anxiety, or difficulties with dog-to-dog introductions, our team steps in to provide specialized support.

This year, we’re reaching out to our community to help us take our program to the next level. We’re fundraising for North Texas Giving Day to secure the resources needed to better support our fosters and the dogs who need us the most. Your donations will go directly towards purchasing essential training supplies like weighted dog vests, slip leads, muzzles, elevated beds, agility equipment, and more.

In addition to supplies, we also need funds for continued education. Our team is committed to growing their knowledge through training workshops led by mentor professional trainers, ensuring we stay at the forefront of dog behavior training. We’re also looking to raise funds to hire professional trainers for dogs who need extra help through a board and train program.

Every dollar raised will help us better prepare our dogs for their future homes, ensuring that adopters are set up for a lifetime of success with their new best friend. With your support, we can continue to rewrite the stories of the dogs in our care, providing them with the second chance they deserve.
