Our emergency medical care campaign is very close to my heart. This cause is about helping abandoned shelter dogs recover from their physical and emotional injuries. Nothing is more rewarding than being a part of their journey, watching them improve, and seeing them get that second chance at a happy life. The majority of the dogs that Fort Worth Abandoned Animal Alliance (FWAAA) takes in are the “underdogs”, and this leaves us relying on donors to help with emergencies and other, often unknown, medical expenses.
We recently rescued Oso who had been hit by a car and was scheduled to be euthanized that same day. No one was coming for her and our hearts were breaking, as they do for so many others in need of medical help. Your donations help FWAAA cover procedures like hers. She still has a long road to recovery, but she is doing so much better after surgery. The rescue team is very excited for the day we get to see her running, playing, and ready for adoption.
Please help our cause by donating to our emergency medical care fund. You can help us support dogs like Oso and so many other animals in dire need of our help.
