Hi Friends! I have set a personal goal to raise $200 to support the Youth Equipped to Succeed (YES) mission this North Texas Giving Day. As a YES employee, I have the privilege of seeing first-hand how YES gives K-12 grade students hope and connection through positive youth development programs. As a mom, it's personal. Working with YES, I realized there were some gaps in the conversations I'd had with my kids. I've had so many great conversations with Adam, Abby, and Ellery since learning so much through YES. Their programs cover topics like sexual health, bullying, mental health, drug and alcohol use, and changing bodies. They even have a peer-to-peer mentoring program. Let's face it. We can all use the help to get our kids the factual information to help them make good decisions about their health and future, so let's get these programs into more schools!
