Opal's Closet was founded in May 2024 by Annette Kirk, a dedicated advocate for foster children and a seasoned professional in social services. Our mission is to provide essential items to children and youth in foster care across Tarrant, Johnson, Hood, Erath, Parker, Palo Pinto, Somervell, Denton, Cooke, and Wise counties. We ensure that every foster child receives the critical items they need during their transition into new placements, delivering these supplies within 6 hours of placement and operating 24/7 to meet urgent needs.
At Opal's Closet, we believe that every child deserves to feel secure and cared for, especially during times of uncertainty.
