Women Leading Technology is a Professional 501c3 technology sorority.  We are more than just a technology organization for women, we are a true sisterhood. 

We are Servant Leaders Creating A circle of service around young girls from elementary- college to pursue a career in STEAAM education (science, technology, engineering arts, architecture, and mathematics). 

Mission:

Women Leading Technology is dedicated to bridging the diversity, equity, and inclusion gap in communities around the world. As we are aware, girls and women are underserved as a whole. Our goal is to change the trajectory of this reality by improving the educational and economic disparity gaps in communities. We are providing resources and opportunities for girls to pursue a career in STEAAM education. Our goal is to keep the girls moving forward by creating a circle of service around their journey. We are with them every step of the way. We are servant leaders.

Vision:

Women Leading Technology's vision is to expand globally and uplift girls and women around the world. We will provide resources and opportunities through STEAAM education, internships, apprenticeships, and job opportunities. Our goal is to make communities stronger by bridging the diversity, equity, and inclusion gap. Together we will make a difference.

The WLT Experience for Girls Powered by Women Leading Technology:

 WLT STEAAM Experience for girls provides hands-on experiences for girls to explore future careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Architecture, and Math. The girls also explore gaming and coding. Not only do  they learn the hands-on aspect of STEAAM, they also learn the principles behind each discipline. Women Leading Technology is excited to work with our future leaders of tomorrow. 

Mission

Women Leading Technology (WLT) is dedicated to empowering women and girls by providing access to transformative education and opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Architecture, Math (STEAAM), and skilled trades. Our mission is to inspire, educate, and equip the next generation of female leaders with the knowledge, hands-on skills, and confidence they need to excel in both high-tech and skilled trade industries. Through innovative programs, scholarships, and mentorship, we aim to bridge the gender gap, fostering a community where women lead with creativity, technical expertise, and impact.

Needs

Women Leading Technology need of volunteers, builders, female architects, safety team, building materials, laptops/tablets and funding for our upcoming architecture challenge.

We are also in need of a permanent location. We need a place to continue our educational efforts on a regular bases. We need to be able to attend from South Dallas, North Dallas and Fort Worth.

Women Leading Technology intent is to bridge the diversity, equity and inclusion gap worldwide through STEAAM Education.

Our approach is to partner with like-minded organization with servant leadership mindsets to help further our mission of making a difference for girls and women alike.

As we are aware, women and girls are underserved in STEAAM disciplines and it is our responsibility as an organization to provide opportunities to help bridge this disparity.

It’s important for girls to have a place to study, learn and grow. Women Leading Technology is on a mission to make this a reality for the girls in which we serve. Our vision is to build WLT STEAAM Experience Centers for Girls worldwide. We girls from Pre-K through college to have hands-on experiences in science, technology, engineering, the arts, architecture and math. We also want them to learn gaming and coding. Providing girls with life changing skills will empower them for the future.
