Legacy Boxing Gym

"Creating Legacies -- One Round at at Time"

Since our inception in 2017, Legacy Boxing Gym has established itself in Denton County as a place where youth and young adults can develop character and discipline both in and out of the ring.  We offer our members a chance to compete if they choose or they can simply join for fitness and community.  As a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, we are committed to contributing and giving back to our community as much as we can.  We do this by offering personal safety & self-defense courses through partnerships with our local police departments and partnering with our local schools and libraries to incentivize reading goals.  We offer nightly group training sessions and personal training sessions for those seeking either to improve their fitness or compete.  Over the next year, Legacy Boxing Gym will be growing in size and scope as we finalize plans to bringing a new facility and new programs to Denton County.  These programs will expand our reach beyond youth and young adults through the launch of programs to support veterans, first responders and individuals living with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s. We will be able to broaden our reach with this growth to serve individuals in other areas of DFW through this increase in facility size and programming.  

Our boxers are never turned away due to an inability to pay their monthly membership fees.   We rely on the support of our community to supplement those funds in those cases.  Our boxers have won Golden Gloves titles and competed at national level USA Boxing events.  As a gym, we are closely regulated and sanctioned by USA Boxing, the organization associated with the US Olympic Committee.  With proper training and development, boxers from our gym have the ability to be a part of the US Olympic Team.
