Creating MORE Legacies - New Facility Campaign

Legacy currently operates in a 4,000 square foot facility on Hundley Drive, in Lake Dallas, TX.   While adequate for current needs, it is not designed for growth in size or programming.  We are able to offer space to train, learn and compete in the sport, however, limitations abound in the size and layout of the facility.  Our classes offer everything needed for beginning and advanced boxers to train, spar and prepare to compete in amateur boxing events sanctioned by USA Boxing and Golden Gloves but doing so in our current environment presents significant challenges.  

God willing, Legacy’s next phase will include the construction of a new facility with at least 7,500 square feet of space.  The space will offer the ability to expand both physical and program areas of Legacy including offering an event space for future amateur boxing events in our area.   

Our new facility will allow us to increase our offerings to youth and young adult boxers while adding new programs for veterans, first responders and individuals managing neurological differences such as Parkinson’s.  We will have the ability to train boxers with better equipment, increase much needed workout space for key pieces of the training regimen (e.g, shadow boxing, strength training, and footwork technique) and offer additional fitness options such as yoga, bodybuilding and pilates classes.  In addition, Legacy plans to develop relationships with therapists in the area and offer opportunities for them to offer connect groups for their clients in conjunction with our unique programs.
