International Dyslexia Association- Dallas Branch

Hi friends and family! 

I have had the privilege of sitting on the board of the Dallas Branch of the International Dyslexia Association for the past few years. It is an honor to help share their mission of promoting literacy for individuals with dyslexia and related disorders through advocacy, education, and support.

As some of you may know, I was diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of seven. While the road to literacy was not an easy one, I fully credit my success to the incredible dyslexia therapy and support I was able to receive. I recognize that the privileges I enjoyed in early diagnosis, excellent therapy, and the ongoing support of my family and academic institutions (to this day)! I joined this board to ensure that others like me are able to access these same resources and support systems.
