At IDA Dallas, we’re passionate about ensuring that every student with dyslexia can access the specialized therapy they need to thrive. Unfortunately, the cost of this therapy can often be a significant hurdle for families. To bridge this gap, we offer need-based scholarships—including an essential summer scholarship program—to help students receive Educational and Academic Therapy year-round.
Why summer support matters:
Students with dyslexia who do not receive continued intervention over the summer can lose up to 30% of the gains they made during the school year. This “summer slide” is especially impactful for students with learning differences, often setting them back months in reading fluency and comprehension. Consistent summer therapy is critical to maintaining progress and building confidence heading into the new school year.
With your help, we can provide scholarships that prevent summer regression and keep students on track to reach their full potential. Your support gives them more than therapy—it gives them a fair shot at success.
