I’m raising funds for the International Dyslexia Association - Dallas Branch because dyslexia is a cause that deeply impacts me and my family. Both my son and I have dyslexia, and I’ve seen firsthand the struggles it brings. As a child, I remember the isolation of being placed in the “slow readers” group, feeling frustrated and inadequate. It wasn’t until a dedicated teacher helped me that I was able to overcome these challenges, but for too many kids, this kind of support isn’t available.
Imagine growing up unable to read—a fundamental skill that so many of us take for granted. For children with dyslexia, the inability to read can affect more than just school performance; it erodes self-esteem, fosters anxiety, and leaves them feeling left behind. Without proper intervention, they may never catch up, and the emotional toll can be devastating.
That’s why I’m committed to raising $50,000 for IDA Dallas. These funds will provide scholarships for students who need specialized therapy but can’t afford it. Every child deserves a chance to thrive, to read, and to believe in their potential. Please help us make that a reality. Together, we can change lives. #UntilEveryoneCanRead
